5 ways to nail it like the Style Diva, Sonam Kapoor

Classy. Elegant. Sophisticated.
These are the three words that describe Sonam Kapoor’s sense of style. And why not? This style diva has always defined fashion one notch higher!
So, today on Sonam’s 30th birthday, we bring to you 5 ways of donning that Fashionista look like a Boss.

Donning the JumpSuit Look

Firstly, it’s a myth that only tall people must wear jumpsuits. With the right pair of pumps or wedges, even a 5 feet tall girl can pull off this look.

If you’re going to wear a jumpsuit in the day, we suggest pulling your hair back into a tight ponytail, slipping on a pair of comfy wedges and dabbing on some blush for a fresh, summer look.
For the night, straighten or slightly curl your hair, wear high heeled pumps and finish off the look with smokey eyes.

Wet the heat with some neon!

Think it’s too pop or funky for daytime? Think again! Psychedelic Neons might be blindingly bright but there are ways you can wear them.
If wearing Neon clothes is too daring for you, work up the trend with neon colored accessories instead, say lime green envelope clutch or a pair of luminous yellow heels, electric blue or shocking orange belt and more. Hit a high note with neon extras!!

Drop Dead Red
Red lips. Red Nail Colour.
These two things alone have the power to turn any simple attire into a gorgeous one. They carry the potential to add instant glamour to any look and with the choices of warmer and cooler shades of red, you can always go for it when in doubt.
It’s a myth that dark skinned women shouldn’t experiment with colour. The pop of a bright colour can be fun, exciting and mysterious all at the same time.

Throw in some Royalty
Royalty doesn’t just run in the blood of a few lucky silver spooners, it’s a personality trait that the luckier few can adopt. So rummage through your grandmom’s old jewellery box and add some royalty to your ordinary ethnic look with some heavy ethnic jhumkas in gold and silver hues.
Remember, less is not necessarily more for this look – mix and match different hues, metals etc. Have fun but keep it classy.

Orange is the new Black
What would summer be without colour! The Indian summer is infinite in wealth & depth of tone and an overdose of colour is the only way to be fashionably patriotic this season!
But this time take it up a notch or two with tangerine hues, frenzied brights and electric tones! Don’t be afraid to experiment with outrageous hues clashing with even more audacious tones! Add a touch of citrus orange and a pinch of hot tangerine and be a feisty colour cocktail this season!
